How do we deliver sustainable communities in a changing climate?

Nick Harrison: We, the English, love talking about the weather, so with this April giving us more clear signs that our climate is changing, it’s not only a hot topic of conversation but also making me wonder if climate change might actually be quite good news (for my suntan at least).

Is there a tension between sustainable development and sustainable communities?

Peter Roberts: I often get asked to explain the links between creating sustainable communities and delivering sustainable development. In many cases, people question whether there’s an apparent tension between these two major policies.
